Panay Island in Western Visayas, composed of Aklan, Capiz, Antique, Iloilo and Guimaras is a "must see" place. The people are charming and hospitable, there are good hotels and resorts where you can relax and stay, lots of beautiful beaches, old churches and interesting places to see. From Manila, visitors can take the plane to Iloilo, Aklan, Capiz or Antique where there is a daily flight via Philippine Airlines or Cebu Pacific. Aklan and Iloilo had more flights. From one Province to the next, you can travel by land, hire a taxi, take a van or ride in air-conditioned buses. You can also take the RORO or boat going to any destination in Panay Island.
