Post Zamboanga Attractions

Zamboanga City is among the highly urbanized city in the Philippines. It has potentials for business opportunities and investments because it has an international airport and seaport that are essential for business establishments to move forward. The dialect spoken here is Chavacano, it is a mix of Spanish language and local dialect. The major languages spoken are Filipino, English, and Chinese.
If you are from Manila it will take 1 hour and 30 minutes by air and longer time if by boat. You may also reach Zamboanga by boat if you are in Cebu or Davao.

Aside from the business opportunities in Zamboanga, this city is also popular amongst international and local tourists. It has lush and wonderful places to see and explore. I’ll mention a few spots that will complete your Zamboanga escapade.

Abong-Abong Freedom Park – It has facilities for camping, biking, and nature sightseeing.

Yakan Village – Villagers are settlers from Basilan. They weave and sell fabrics that have colorful and unique geometric designs.

Fort Pilar – This was built in the 16th century by the Spaniards as a defense against attacks from invaders. Now it is a historical shrine that also houses Marine Life Museum.

Yellow Beach – Landing site of US forces in 1945 that liberated the city from the Japanese during WWII.

Santa Cruz Islands – Pink sand beaches.
