Our Baguio Honeymoon (To the music of "Mem'ries") Honeymoon is spent best in Baguio--to me, that is. I and my wife had ours here. That was June 4, 1995--we were married June 3. It was raining, so we're supposed to get rich according to tradition.
Anyway, we arrived there 6 am. The mist was thick and love was in the air. Fog covered roofs and hilltops in the distance. Wow! What a way to spend honeymoon. And my wife looked so...so....umm...never mind. I might be banned here.
We stayed at Terraces Hotel near Burnham. Well, first we stayed in that old dilapidated hotel along Session. It looked like Dracula would appear somewhere anytime in our room, and it was the kind where Darna would have to rescue you several times in a day. At dawn, after an earthquake that sent us grabbing each other crazily and saying our last farewells, we left in a hurry and found Terraces. This hotel was superb!
Then we had our meals at Sunshine Restaurant at the corner of Session and Magsaysay Roads. The Chinese food there is yummy and always hot. The vegetables are cccrrrunchy! I have a friend waiter there whom I befriended for better services in the future.
Then we bought chacku sets and arnis sticks, among other souvenirs. The whole thing was so memorable. Baguio is our favorite vacation place. Each time we're there, wife and I reminisce our honeymoon--which was 14 years ago. Boy, how time flies! Now we have 2 active kids crazy about martial arts! hihi!
