Swimming at Dakak Beach

Overlooking the Sea of Sulu, Dakak Beach is without question the most popular attraction in Dipolog, and there really are few places in the country which affords a better swimming experience.

With the blue green waters, awesome looking rock cliffs and beautiful clouds, Dakak is not just the home of some of the finest resorts in the country, but, as stated, swimming. The calm and serene waters are perfect for the whole family.

Take a Tour of the Cogon Eco Park

The Cogon Eco Park began as a reforestation project but has grown into a reserve where the beauty of nature and wildlife can be seen and experienced.

Among the many tourist attractions here are the various tree types such as Molave, Mayapis and Narra; for the kids and young at heart, there are a profusion of different birds, reptiles, snakes and other mammals. There are also spots where you can go hiking, trekking or have a picnic.

Having Fun at Miputak Beach

There are several pristine beaches in Dipolog, and Miputak Beach is not just one of the loveliest, but it can also be a center for any number of fun activities.

Go to Magsaysay Park

Magsaysay Park, situated in the midst of the city and right next to City Hall, is another location ideal for family gatherings or walks.

Among the many sights you will see are a monument to Jose Rizal, the national hero, a Jurassic Park section featuring several dinosaurs and beautiful bamboo trees, all surrounded by an ocean of lush greens and trees.
